Metamorphosis - Cel Animation
This animation focused on cel animation. We could choose between hand-drawn animation using a stop-motion app or digital animation with Adobe Creative Cloud. I opted for digital animation using my drawing tablet. The theme was metamorphosis, and I chose to animate the Pokémon Ditto, known for its ability to transform. I depicted Ditto transforming into various animals and creatures, which perfectly suited the theme.
FreeTake Logo Animation
I created this animation for our group project website to be used on a loading or confirmation page. It features a hand picking up an apple, which then transforms into the logo.
Dream - Cut-Out Animation
I created this using cut-out animation techniques with stop motion. One challenge was achieving consistent lighting, which I addressed by using ring light stands. The theme was to create a dream, so I imagined a superhero time-travel adventure. In the animation, I fly through a portal, visit different eras from dinosaurs to robots, and end with a humorous twist: a shark eats me.
